Default Compact Flash Cards

Hi bros,

I am thinking of getting a new CF card. Not sure which brand to get. Probably above 1 GB.

Can anyone advise?

I have only used Sandisk all this while, from the normal CF to the ExtremeIII version. Definitely no complaints from me. Even when using it at the top of a mountain during winter.
You can't go wrong with Sandisk

Where can I get the cheapest 1GB Sandisk EXtreme III and Lexar WA CF card? Anyone know the latest price for those cards?

prices for compactflash have been going up and down.
Now also dunno the actual price for a 1gb.

depends on speed,1 gb should be around $90+ to $130.

I recommend the Sandisk Ultra II. Its fast, reliable and cheaper than the extreme III.

Unless you shoot in extreme conditions the extreme III's durability isn't needed... also the speed difference isn't very significant - but the price is.

I'm using Sandisk Ultra II, both CF and SD card...reliable, no complaints.
