Default AMK Robberfly, GH and bee

As in my drop post, near it was this small robberfly, so took some shots at it. Lighting was not too good, so had to use some slow shutter speed. Chance upon this little GH and bee too.

FZ10+6T+Sigma CU, Ext bounce flash, ISO50, F8, Various speeds

#1: Full frontal
1/60s

#2: Different Perch
1/40s

#3: Hanging On!
1/30s

#4: Little GH
1/50s

#5: Bee
1/100s

Negative comments are also welcomed.

I shall self critique first:

Overall, BG is rather dark (except for #4). Lighting was poor, and even at slow shutter, it was still dark. Thus, pushed levels up---> up noise---->apply neatimage. So some loss of details.

#3: Had wished the tail to be infocus......camera parallel to subject not parallel enough. Can also see the water drop below is not as sharp as top drop.

#4: Is abit soft.

Feel free to add it. Thanks!

#5 Bee is actually a Hoverfly. I see this species in my 'garden' in Jakarta regularly.
At least, I think it's the same. What do you think?

It does look like one, and my initially thought when I first saw it on my PC was that it is a hoverfly.....but I did not see it hover when I took it....thats why I thought it was a bee....

Very nice series except the background is grainy.

I got the above fly taken by A95. Click here to see my shot.
