is the new batch of s3pro upgraded buffer?

hi guys... i went to CP to ask abt s3pro & they quoted me $3088. i ask them again if this is with the upgraded buffer? the sales person claim its the new batch. i can juz go online to upgrade the software for free so as the buffer????

izit true??? sounds unbelievable since the last upgrade of buffer cost like $500 -$600...

think they mux haf misunderstood u.

perhaps they dun know what is buffer and firmware and got them both mixed up. as far as i know, there isn't any S3Pro with upgraded buffer on the market, yet.

If I am not mistaken, the S3s that ship from factory with the larger buffer will have a blue S3 logo. I read this some time back.

i c... juz doin some research. thinkin of gettin an s3 in the near future. unless someone can convince me to get D200 which is some how the same if not cheaper than the s3(with upgraded buffer)... kwang kwang kwang

i wonder if CP provide credit card installment?

it originated along with the S4Pro rumour..

though i wish it might be true!

the current s3pro price & after getting the upgrade from fuji will cost more than D200 that was wot i mean...
but i do like you, hope the s4 is true........ once s4pro is out can get s3pro at a bargain!!!

kahheng - good info, thanks for sharing.

blue - memory upgraded
grey - no upgraded yet

but haven't seen anything yet on all new manufactured sets come with the memory upgraded. so back to iZ1d's question, check the badge colour, but the price appears to be consistent with the no-memory upgrade price.

I have a feeling that the price of the upgraded buffer model will be about the same as the one that's not, or even less. Doubt Fuji has a choice since the D200 is out.

buffer upgrade = 549 if i am not wrong....

and from wat i have enquired the current shipment still does not have it...

but if the new price is abiout the same as the old one...then for us to upgrade...we would be paying alot man... but again, even without the upgrade... i could still live with the s3pro
