Default Sigma 50-500 / Bigma Tripod Collar

    Hi Everyone,

Recently got myself a Bigma and was wondering if anyone else found the tripod collar mechanism a bit too tight to rotate the camera between portrait and landscape orientation when mounted on tripod? The action is not smooth and requires quite a bit of effort!

Is there anyway to improve this? Eg by lubricating the areas in contact with the collar? What lube should i use?

    Thanks in advance!

    cheers,
    tim
