Default Hasty Attack on Christmas Eve '05

got a call for "mobilisation" late last night to have a little shoot in the morning. i was thinking "what the heck, i haven't been shooting for months", so hastily packed a few gear & head out to SBG with my boy to meet some wonderful kind souls. (^_^)

they may not be the most beautiful pics but kind souls were generous to lending me their lenses, namely ZD50-200mm & the ZD 50mm macro. like the saying "dun look at the monk's face also look at the buddha face", so nothing really special here except for the "lustible" lenses. treat it as Christmas Cards i am sending it to all the wonderful CSers here whom i have gained much from. ;-)

these twin was taken by the ZD 50-200mm follow by the next one as well:

the next few "Christmas Cards" were shot with my usual Nikkor 70-300ED:

next few comes from the most wonderful ZD 50mm prime glass. again nothing short of stunning except my deteriorated skills. if anything, photography skills tend to degenerate if you don't shoot often. ;-p

be fruitful & multiply!! so the bible says:

this is what's left from Noah's big flood, can't live with it & can't live w/o it.

soon the flood subsided & land was once again rich & beautiful.

would you consider him as son of Adam?

Among us there's of course the star of the show, my boy!!

last but not least, it has been an honour shooting next to the ULTIMATE LORD Chii:

like to take this opportunity to thank the kind souls who are generous with their possessions & the fun they brought to my boy & i. THANK YOU!!

btw, in case you are not aware, those images are in their original form not cropped 100%.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

    from your friendly neighbourhood

    Nice and sharp pics
Pictures always should have a special story behind it or a special meaning to the photographer.

thx Hitman for the compliment, to the lens of cos!! nothing special with the pics but the lenses were sure of stunning quality!!

(ps. the pics u see were heavily compressed for viewing, so artifacts r to be expected)

the duck trying to be a flamingo.

but why the pic looks blur? mine also not very sharp. the ZD 50-200mm shud be a lot better than this from what i gather elsewhere. maybe our techniques not good or the lens needs calibration.

here's 100% crop of my "flamingo":

the whole pic look like this:

we shud know soon enuf when Chii & post his ducks.
