Could too much watching of football matches with the boys at the local kopi thiam result in this.....

Gambling....is that what you read in this pic?
    Interesting
Well hanging out with the boys doesn't neccessary means one has to gamble.
But you do have an interesting interpretion to this photo.

'Anniversary' gives the picture the time element, the rest is really up to the viewer's imagination

Hi pppiglet. Yo do have some imagination.
Err....why was she hit on the head and not some other parts of her anatomy?
I need somemore of your imagination to work overtime here.....think of the chair and the football in relation to her walking away. Could this tell a story too?

The location does neither look like a kopitiam not like a place where a bride would wait. There's some other mystery story hidden in this picture waiting to be unraveled. The picture itself is IMHO very well made - one of the very few I've seen here where a "special effect" has been put to good use.

When this was first created, the bride was placed on the right side of the chair. This did not strike any cord in me. It was only when she was placed at the extreme left did I see a storyline unfolding
A plastic chair which is commonly found at kopi tiams and a football beside it, to me, equate to watching a football match. In relation to the bride fading away, what I saw was a marriage heading into troubled waters because of the overly indulgent in watching too many football matches.
Indeed the old adage that a picture is worth a thousand words hold true in this instance. I will leave it to the viewers' discretion to interpret what they see in this photo.
You have seen a story unfolding here when you stated that 'this is not a place where a bride would wait and that there's some other mystery hidden in this picture waiting to be unraveled.'
Would you care to share what you see?

I'm not really sure what the story is, but there is an aura of mystery in this picture. The ghost-like appearance of the bride in this desolate environment instills a feeling of tragedy and shattered dreams to me.

In some respect, it reminds me of legends where ghosts would linger around/revisit the sites of their tragedy long after it happened. Maybe at one time, this ruin was a clean room decorated for a wedding before desaster stroke? Time has passed on and the building decayed, but the bride cannot find rest ...

That's about all I can say at this time. Maybe I find this picture interesting because there isn't a clear-cut story jumping at me, only some hints that leave ample room for fantasy in the interpretation. A bit like the smile of the Mona Lisa, perhaps.

Heaven forbids. I would had been a dead duck if I had use one of my client's photo for this composite.

Above two pics were used to create the effect.
The bride was a photo shoot from the Asia Fashion week held in November last year.
