Default Dragon Fly-First attempt closeup

This is my first attempt to shoot a dragon fly so close.

Good try. Keep shooting and you'll get better. You need to get closer than that though.

ok, just started reading macro/closeup techniques.. a lot of stuff in CS..

Background is too messy. It's hard to find the dragonfly, perhaps a bigger aperture might help.

Hi good attempt even getting the shot of the dragonfly - remember chasing one of these around last week .

You may need to get a little closer, since the character of the insect is often in the eyes - learnt this from other CS members.
