Hi all,
Just a note share my experience. Bought a PD70X for my recent trip for my 10D & F11, but after a few downloads, it reported space is used up, even though only about 3GB was copied, and little or no fragmentation appears in the hard disk. Couldn't download my pictures (on the card) onto the drive after that, and had to cut down on our number of shots, what a bummer Brought the unit back to East Gear (within a month of purchase) and got a full refund, upon confirmation that this was a problem with the compact drive. There appears to be a problem with the Compact Drive PD70X and the new M-series of the xD card. Kudos Not good At the end of the day, even though we didn't get that many shots as we wanted, at least my family and I had good fun. Just wished that this hadn't happened So suay. That being said, I believe that the problem is only with the newer xD cards. The compact Drive is still a decent device if you ask me. -ptlee- |
