Hi just call ms color and check out the price for a 77mm polarizer filter. The Tokina one cost $45 while the Hoya cost $79. Does it make any different between Tokian and Hoya ?

get a good CP, you can use it for a lifetime...the build lasts, the coating lasts, the results last. If you have cheap lens, all the more you should get a good filter. If you have good lens, then don't save on filters to damage the quality of your shot.

Well, I have a tokina CP for 4 years now for my F65. No problem with it. Still fine and using it, and I don't think Tokina is one of the expensive brands, right?

if you can live with the result, then there is no prob. the hoya one that I got gave my pics a horrible color cast.

One newbie qn here: If you already have a UV filter on your lens, do you attached the CPL on top of the UV or do you all remove the UV first then attach the CPL?
