Default Lense Protector

Hi brothers,

I am a beginner and was thinking if there are any lense protector for sigma, tamron and canon lenses. I am not referring to the cap but something, which I can used as I take photos.

I know Nikkon has that (something called NC) but just wondering if other lenses have that or where could I buy them?

I am currently holding a 20D.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Have you considered using a UV filter as a lens protector ?
If on a budget u may use Hoya usually 8 - 25 bucks depending on size
If u want the very best get a BW from Cathay (prices start from 70 plus depending on size)

You're referring to filters? What you should be looking for are UV/Haze filters for protecting the front lens element. Check out the thread size on your lens (its in mm) and buy the corresponding sized filter from any of the regular photo shop(s) in Peninsula/AMK.
