    Default garageband equivalent for PC

hey guys...just wondering if any of you might know of any software that i could use for my pc to create my own music (for flash animations and stuff)...sort of like those synthesizers...freeware or those that you have to pay are fine for me

tried fruityloops? if u do audiorecording, den perhaps Ntracks might do the trick. its a somewhat cheaper version of cakewalk's Sonar.

hmm..not so much of an audio junkie on my side (though i do listen to one eclectic range of music)...just hoping to learn one more skill so i could use it for my flash animations (when i eventually get down to making them)...would save me the hassle of having to seek copyright permissions and all that if i ever host them online... well that's all talk though..lol...let's see if i ever do anything... haha
