As long as u did not open the canister, its ok.

If water finds its way to the film, u can kiss that roll good bye. The film will stick together like honey haha

If the water get to the film and you still can manage to dry the film,I think is ok,one of my friend who is using a X-pan during a shooting trip,he accidentally soak his X-pan into sea water, the camera die,but the picture he took is safed.he sent it to develope and all the image is unspoil.

yes it does spoil. i tried that one. i left my coloured film in a point and shoot camera for about a year, and when i finally developed the film, it decolourized, and the lab report said that they had to use high heat to develop it.

the film that came out was also really bad.

So, don't try it!!!! use up your film or if you don't, just rewind and develop it! save your memories!
