King Kong dies not because of love. We are responsbile for its death. It dies because the movie goers like to see it dies.

One other version of ending is to have a female King Kong who is jealous of King Kong and Ann Darrow. So the Kongs fight and kill each other.

To me, that fat director is only concerned about his own fame, $$$ and etc..he is very cold towards all others!

The whole cinema was laughing when King Kong tore the tongue off the T-rex, broke its jaw and "played" with the mouth...*ROFL*

I liked the fololwing statement: "Defeat is only temporarily"
    eat. drink. shoot

Well.. Isnt it obvious that we'll be able to see her nipples after she come out from the water? Maybe I'm always kinda concern about all small little details

    Default Observations

    Couple of observations:

    1. It's amazing the stunts they can make a guy in a monkey suit do.

    2. It's a tough job being a guy in a monkey suit.

    3. How come he's the only oversized ape on the island? Where are the rest?

    4. How come the T-Rexs' teeth are so blunt? Bite King Kong so many times still can't bite his arm off?

    5. How did they manage to load King Kong to the ship after he passed out from the chloroform? They only had a few small boats and there were a lot of rocks that prevented the ship from coming too near to the island.

    6. Let's face it, the ape got caught because he got suckered in by a woman. Not the first time this has happened to members of the male species.

    7. Ultimately he died because he likes to look at the sunset/sunrise too much - obviously an aesthete at heart, despite appearances to the contrary.

    8. If he had just played his part on Broadway, he'd have everything - name up in lights, good food, fame, more blonde women.

    9. It's nice to hear "Singapore" being mentioned so many times in the beginning (very well done 'product' placement). Maybe the STB instead of trying to co-opt Cheng Ho (who really had nothing much to with us) as a tourist attraction, should try to subsume King Kong into our national folklore instead. Replace the Merlion with King Kong instead........

Eventually, New York City done him in as it has many others before him and many others after him. It's a tough neighbourhood afterall.

I read somewhere that the film was shot in New Zealand. Wonder why NZ was chosen - other than the fact that Peter is a New Zealander. I mean that the sceney BGs are mostly either NY City (CGI-ed to mimick the 30s era), the sea or Skull Island.

Was WETA the company that did all the CGIs? Were there other companies that were involved? The CGI for Kong & the creatures were stunning!

    No monkey suit, all CGI.

Just like many real animals Kong is supposed to be the last of his kind (the locals probably chopped down all the bannana trees )

I am sure it will appear on the web some where, if not now, then soon. Why don't you go watch the movie and find out?

Hmm, I had somehow sensed that there was a bit of Gollum in the ape..............
