finepix 1300 or 2300

hi,

i am looking for a finepix 1300 or 2300 to try IR.

where can i buy one ? any idea how much ?

is buying from cash converter a good idea ?

tried b&s but not repsonse so far.

it's a discontinued model. If you have the money why don't you buy a newer model?

i only know that the hot mirror (IR filter on top of the CCD) can be remove for the 1300 and 2300.

for the s2pro the hot mirror is fused onto the ccd.

Not sure of other model which i can remove the hot mirror.

Dun need to remove hot mirror to shoot ir. If you remove hot mirror, you'll need to compensate focus...even more difficult
