Hi, jus a suggestion, I would have crop it this way (hope u dun mind me doing that)
cuz i thought the second window looks quite distracting.
    jus my 2 cents

me too, prefer the smaller crop. The far window on the left is over exposed and the opposite house showing thru the window seems very out of place.

yeah... i think u could choose either window.
having both the windows look abit distracting.

you can also try closing the other window and have the light come through it.
and maybe a reflector to get more shadow detail

    Reflector?
Heheh.... I not there to do a pro photoshoot.

Also kinda last minute and just plain lucky I can get in.

Sigh.... I think it's almost impossible to get the inside and the ouside the right colour. One of them is bound to get over- or under-exposed.

white t-shirt, newspaper, cardboard box, umbrella,
all of these and more can be used as a reflector
