the linhof 617 kit is about 13k Sin

u can ask cathay photo or Pro photo about it.

a cheaper alternative is to use a 617 back on a 4x5 view cam.

Very difficult to buy in Singapore, you can get it from H.Kong or China, they are manufacturing it. Price is around US$750 and above.
There is one in ebay:

This image was taken with a 6x17 back on the Graflex 4x5 view cam. Lens was Rodenstock Grandagon 90mm f4.5 . Taken in October/November 2005.

Hi Boon Wei,

you mentioned abt the lenses usage on the china made 617 camera. Any particular brand of lenses? Is Linhof lenses compatible with the china made cam? I'm pretty nuts in pano cameras and wanted to do some interesting shots if I can afford to own one.

Hey martin,

the beauty of LF lenses are compatibility for all brands of camera! u just need to fit them on the respective lensboard of the camera.

But.. the china made 617 back is only a film back,u need to fit them on a 4x5 camera to use them..
