If money is no issue, would you want a Nikon FF DSLR?

Nope. I think the 1.5 times crop factor is a plus. Many manufacturers leverage on this advantage.

Maybe Nikon should R&D for Digital Back, 1 stone kills many birds.

the only downside of APS is on the WA side,
but I think that the range have alredy been met with the 10.5mm FE and 12-24mm. a plus would be that my teles now have a longer reach and the sensor now uses the best part of the lens, the centre. the next step would be Medium format.

tried the 12-24 on my f80, the wider side is not useful at all (overly distorted, very limited usage)... crop factor gives more reach, more 'options' for long lens

i don't think the only downside is the WA. it's also the DOF, the perspective, the lenses available.

Oh yes I do. If just to provide competition in the FF market, absolutely yes. It will help to speed up innovation and bring down prices even more.

If money not an issue, everyone should have one full frame body for wide angle usage and one 1.5x for telephoto nature or sports with extra fast focussing. Perfect for wedding/event photographers who prefer to work with two cameras.
