links for reading up basics?

i remembered that sometime ago someone had posted quite a number of links that teaches basics in depth such as the understanding of focal length and aperture in one of the thread. i was reading halfway in one of the links. however i failed to bookmark them and now i cannot find them after ploughing thru a number of threads using the search engine with words like "interested", "read" and "study".

i vaguely remember the thread is in this sub-forum but i can't be sure. i think the links are provided by a veteran, maybe nod, edb or someone else, but i just can't be sure.

i wonder if that person who have posted the links can kindly post it again cos that few links are really gd.

on the clubsnap main page there's also a "photography 101" link on the left. and in the "newbies" forum there's a list by crysania.

of cos, but i feel the need to look at diagrams to understand certain concepts and their physics. forum should be more for clarification.
