Default Service and repair my 300D and 50mm F1.8

Is there any other place that can service and repair my 300D and 50mm F1.8 other than the Canon Service Center at Harborfront?

I want to send my 300D for cleaning of sensor and viewfinder. Also, my 50mm is also faulty as the aperture is locked. The respective warranty period is over.

Any idea where can I go? TCW?

Safer to go to canon. Send it in at funan. You can ask them for a quote before repairs. If you're lucky they may even do it free. They serviced my 300D (back focus correction) and checked ALL my lenses for back focus, long after the warranty was over, for free. I wouldn't trust a DSLR with the small shops.

don't send yr digitals to TCW, they might be good with film bodies, but i have no idea for digital bodies. Best still go back to canon.

TCW that bad meh?

How about trying John 3:16? In the old days, I used to send my stuff to them for servicing. Have not done that for a long time though.

I would love to go to Canon Service Center in Harborfront but they only open on weekdays 9am-5pm. I would have to take leave to service my camera

How's the service if we send it to the Canon Service Center Funan branch? Does it take much longer?

Canon @ funan sends it to harbour front in less than a day. Maybe 1 day extra waiting time for you at most.

I had bad experience with 3:16. Ask them to check out the lens and get back to me before I decide to repair/clean, the bugger went ahead and fix the lens and I end up paying 150 bucks !!!
