It is advise to set 45% to 55% for digi cameras/lens. At 35%, it is for stuff likes pollen, measuring tools etc, according to the digi cab instruction that I am looking at now

Thanks for the info.

But question: what would be the 'margin of error'? 5%? 10% Then...instead of setting @ 45% (ideal) should I set at 35% or 40%?

Thanks

... or better buy the pro model Dry Cabinet. It will set and maintained the humidity to the level you are set. Pricy??? Yes But you get what you paid for.

Arto.

The DryCabi manual only say 40-50%RH for Photography equipement. So better set in this range. I think 44%RH is good. But again this is my personal feeling.

FYI, It is slightly below marking "A" on the humidizer knob inside the DryBox. This 44%RH is stable after around 6 hours after you open the DryCab's door. You can see the green LED is dimmed on this setting. I found setting knob on mark "A" give 42%RH. It is actually contrary to the manual, which is said factory setting at mark "B" give around 45%RH, which I found is 29%RH. All this setting is from my DryCabi AD-040 (40 liter), about 2 months old.

Regards,
Arto.
