For lens, there will be some difference. You need to test them out. Canon is re-known for their glass on SLR and dSLR.

But when it comes to adapter lens, they still do provide the advantage over 3rd-party. However saying that, some 3rd party do make good lens too. Slightly vignetting or CA are unavoidable.

Call him if you want more info or go to the links i gave earlier. Bought the 52mm DCR-6600PRO as recommended and tested with the Lensmate adapter (52mm). Really love the difference it makes for wide angled shots.

I have 2 lensmate adapters though, the 52mm and the58mm. The 58mm is used for filters as ?I have the cokin filters from my old 35mm SLR days.
