I am curently using the D70s with kit lens, and getting kind of handicapped by the max aperature and focal length. So I'm thinkin of getting some better lens. However I'm stuck between getting these two choices.
Need some advice from the more experience nikonian here. Thks Last edited by cybergrunt; 11th December 2005 at 10:59 PM. Reason: typo on title |

Stay with the kit lens. It's a very good lens but sell no value. What do you mainly shoot?

Buy 17-35 f/2.8, 28-70 f/2.8, 70-200VR f/2.8.

50mm f1.8D is useful for portraits and it is quite affordable. Go for it.

stick with the kitlens, get the 50mm and wait until a nice affordable 80-200/2.8 shows up in buy and sell, to get it.
