Looks promising ... finally a macro with VR

I would have wished for a 200 f/4 AF-S VR.

That would have been more yummy, but I noted that both glasses are G types, sigh, no aperture ring for FM bodies

Nano coating looks very promising

After AF-S 300 f/2.8G VR III, they seem to be employing their Nano-coating on further makes of glasses.

Newer version of VR should be able to mount on the tripod....
