I was re-reading the S3 Pro review at Dpreview, and I realized one thing, that it writes to xD-cards at 3.8mb/s!!! How is that possible when the fastest xD-card has only a write speed of 3mb/s and 2.5mb/s for Type M? Kindly enlighten me.
And I'm wondering when the Olympus Type H High Speed xD-cards will arrive. |

Maybe the stated 3.8mb/s is only possible with a Type H xD card which is still not available at the moment ... So when the Type H is launched, and u buy one, then u will be able to hit 3.8mb/s with ur S3 as claimed ... Just guessing

No no can't be, the S3 was reviewed early this year and it uses a standard type 512MB xD-card. Pretty weird how the camera can go over the limits of the card which has a max write speed of only 3.0mb/s.
