Packaging
Unlike other backdrop available elsewhere,

Our non-wooven series will be professionally pack by rolling the entire backdrop into a hard paper core. Your backdrop will arrive in excellent condition and without folding lines.

So why save a few bucks getting it elsewhere and receive the item in poor condition



This is the reverse side of non-wooven series backdrop. It's around 3 times the thinkness of paper. And unlike paper, it's durable and you can never tear it with bear hands.

Sizes
The 3m by 2m is ideal for head shots and half body shots. It is also good enough for full body shots of a small size person. The 3m x 4m will give you a lot more flexibility. It gives you ample of runner and is good for a medium group shot. You can also hang this side wide to accommodate a bigger group. The 3m x 6m gives you maximum flexibility.

Rod Pocket (or How do I hang the background?)
There is no rod pocket. We recommend a pair of A-clamps to hang them. With the A-clamps, you can put it up and take it down a lot faster. You can also create a very pleasant drapping effect with the clamps. You can also use tape to stick it on your wall.

Color Variation
Do not judge the color of the muslin with your naked eyes. The camera "sees" the background very differently than your eyes, which has the greatest and fastest ability to make adjustment. The background picks up the tone of the light source and blend in a color than your eyes may quickly filter out. Some paint/dye has a reflective property that gives a darker and richer color in the pictures than your eyes see it. The color may vary slightly from one batch to another.

However, background in photography is the greatest illusion of the trade. You can get many different results by varying your lights source, the distance, and angle of the lights. Post a subject a few feet away from the background and play with different lighting.

Wrinkle
The muslin background is shipped folded. The straight line creases are not the best pattern for photography. Crumpling the background removes the straight line creases. It also gives you a very pleasant uneven pattern. Putting the crumpled background in your bathroom for a day or two lets it absorb the moisture and helps making the muslin easier to handle. You may also spray some water mist to accelerate the process.

You may also use steamer or iron on the muslin.

Question 3: Frankly I've no idea I guess at least 4 clips (1 meter apart). You could use the Magic Backdrop clip or ordinary clip from hardware store for the Background Stand.

do u have any pictures of how the magic clips are to be used? i don't think its meant for the background stand, rather, one end is to be clamped to the wall/door while the other end is for the background itself. i guess there must be a maximum weight the clips can hold but in any case, don't quote me, i haven't seen it myself, its just something i've heard..

You're right, the clip is not meant for the stand. It's to clip to something else, wall/door/curtain rod or whatever you can think of. I've one similar clip meant for holding studio light, it's rather strong.

By the way, the simplest and effective way to hang the background is to tape it to the wall. Learned from few photographer I met here

The max height is 3.18m, min height is 1.2m. Weigh 7.2kg. Price S$120
