dear ALL,
just wondering if Canon will update older low-tier DSLR when their warranty is expired? If the original owner is not tech savvy to care about the updates, these cameras may still have their associated bugs. Will it be too expensive to get the camera checked for front/back focusing issues, firmware update and sensor cleaning, etc? i'm thinking of getting one of these 3 models. |

What i meant to say was if i bring an obsolete model like D30 or D60 to Canon Spore, will they upgrade the firmware to the "latest" available? It may be released some years back but still applicable to the said DSLR.

It gets a "firmware update" everytime I pop in the latest, most advanced 35mm year2005 film, such as Velvia 100. Put a FD mount L lens in front and you are in business. ![]() |

You can't really make a D30 become 20D just by firmware upgrade right? |
