    But it looks like the CR123A rechargeable Li-ion battery it is selling sucks. 350mAH only. You can get 600-700mAH Li-ion overseas, but too bad cannot ship them across borders as it's against regulations.

    See here and here. (Prices in US$ & before shipping). No problem with getting them shipped over. The first one is Hong Kong based & I have bought rechargeable Li-On batteries from him before.

    I don't think those batteries (not charger) have built-in over-discharge & overcurrent protection circuit to prevent damage or shortened lifespan of the batteries.
