That I don't know, but F700 (consumer 4th Gen SR chip) is $60+, and S2pro (DSLR) is $1600+. Best to call up Fuji, very helpful people there.

But why do you need to replace? Sensor death?

May not need replacement, remapping should solve the problem. Effectively tells the sensor that pixel A is dead, and you should copy whatever in pixel B (next to A) to A. Loses some resolution and details, but if not excessive, who-cares. Makes your photos look more film-grained! hahaha

But seriously, I like the way you put it, if bearable, stick with it for a while more. The repair cost may be better spent saving for another (better) camera.

Thank you all for yr kind advice.

Tried to call Fujifilm service center the whole day but there seem to be no one picking up the phone.

Last but not least, I have a crap question to ask... issit possible to replace the existin 3mp ccd with a 5mp ccd.

Apologies if i sounded naive. I am not fr engineering background.

Why don't you email? support@fujifilm.com.sg. They reply in a day or less. In fact I once sent an email to them and received a reply in 5 minutes!
