Default the right bounce

Planning to buy the bounce for my SB600. Which one is better? The $30 stofen omni bounce or the $15 orionbounce by eastgear.

$60 is list price, $30 is selling price,

LS PJ is good, if only you can tell the different and make full use of it.

So what's different and how to make full use of it? Since you say it's good, you must know the different and know how to make full use of it. Share share leh.

ceiling bounce too soft,
bounce card almost like direct flash,
orionbounce is a joke,
omnibounce is ok,

LS classic win them all,
LS PJ better still.

I try all of them on whatever kind of light condition, environment, so this is my finding and also base on my experience, my liking and my taste, so some people may think differently, that's suppose be the way. You may not like what I like.

How to use LS, is all written in Gary Fong Website, there is no more secret about LS, how can he selling this and not tell people how to make full use of this?

I set to TTL-BL and just shoot. Unless you're consistently getting under or over exposed shots with the bounce card, I'd leave the settings alone.

But if you're willing to invest in some time, you should just shoot in a controlled setting, take multiple shots changing one variable at a time and then compare the results.

Not true. Most flashes do this for you automatically these days, up to a certain extent

Talking Re: the right bounce

Thanks so much, catchlights. Yesterday I bought Lightsphere2photographicJournalist (LS2PJ) for $70 @ cathay marina. The gary fong's website is really made my decision. After taking photos with stofen omnibounce and LS2PJ, LS2PJ gives better natural skin tone. As the LS2PJ is made from vinyl, it really flexible and more durable as compared to the classic lightsphere.
