Hi,
any advice on using HB-17 over HB-7 for AF 80-200? Both are 77mm.

HB-17 is $20 , last week went back to check with cathay as they have indent for me from nikon japan but after 3-4 months still no news so i give up and use the credit to buy other things instead , u should have hard time finding a old lens hood which might not in production any more ...
btw does using a HB-17 on a af-d 80-200 gives better pic or shield flare better ? i think its better to stick with yr original hood |

Might just give you vignetting if you can even get it on in the first place. Wonder how can they sell that so cheap when the HB17 goes for like 45 sing over here.

HB-17 very hard to get in SG or even none.
But can find in ebay USA or BH, price think around or higher than TMC price in JP. HB-7 can get around $20-$30 in SG. |

All you need to do, is just to buy a 70-200VR to use the HB-17 hood.
BUY BUY BUY!!! |

can use HB-17 on AFD 80-200mm? won't there be vignetting?
i heard that each individual lens hood are especially design for that particular lens.
