Recommendations for Budget Polarizers and Filters

Hi guys,

Posted a previous post with wrong spelling .. spelled 'polaroid' when I wanted to spell 'polarizer' =P

Any recommendations for a budget polarizer? I am a photography newbie interested in shooting snapshots, architecture, potraits, landscapes and black and white. And I am using a EOS300V with kit lens and UV guard.
