A detailed review is available as per the link stated by Wrx.
After reading it yesterday I've come to the conclusion that it's good on features and perhaps quite average in terms of image quality. The zoom range is excellent, but not without its compromises of course. But if I had just a bit more money, I'd go for a Canon 350D or Nikon D70 together with a Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6. It doesn't give quite the same zoom range, but the high ISO performance and responsiveness is going to be a real blessing for most users. With a long, extending lens like this, the camera will probably be a dust sucker too. |
