Ansel is more aware that his friend would not be using the pc just for games and nothing else. Maybe the pc is for his kid as a Christmas present. He would be wiser though to get the pc going for only six months. What ever his decision it won't be a strugging one for he will be able to read the mind of the wise. Thinking to get something for the best value for money is a frame of the mind, don't get others to increase your anxiety level. Just be grateful that so many Club members come to your rescue.

On the side line: Ansel how is your Speed Graphic?

    * togu reminds everyone that Ansel just looking for a pc that cost less then 1.2k, can play game, can do some other works. A simple pc.

Ansel, don't think, don't consider. Just buy AMD, case close.

    Well, yes and no.

It is for a friend's son who is into action gaming like Warcraft, Halo, etc. I dont think a $1.2k PC without monitor is considered a simple PC right?

Dont need to be top notch....just average good enough. Or should I say, as good as possible for around $1.2k. "What is the best deal at that price." Trying to put it in different words.

Anyway, all of you have given really good advice. Thanks!
