Nice photo. I wish though the bottom wasn't cut off. The ground would provide some reference frame. As it is, I cannot tell whether just a bit of the tree is missing, or if you're just showing the very top part of a giant tree.

nice work; good composition, very minimalist; good potential in you if indeed you are newbie. my only comment is to darken the sky and reduce the glare of the sun ...
