so is it f10 or f11? the price for f11 is abt $100++ more than f10 but it seems that f11 lost out in terms of image quality. (purple fringing, vertical bending (what's this actually?) etc.)
the noise level is also particularly high as compared to f10. the sample photos of f10 also look better to me (a newbie's pt of view). so which shld i choose? now i am having second thoughts on buying f11. |

Actually, they're essentially the same camera. F11 is merely an F10 with a few new added features e.g. Aperture/Shutter Priority mode, higher resolution LCD, etc.

so this is actually a pretty straight-forward question. I know I wouldn't get the F10 if I'm offered to choose between the F10 or the F11

OT: For a moment I thought you were asking if taking photos at f10 or at f11 is better...
F11 would be my choice...

Apart from other improved features over the F10, the ability to shoot at ISO 1600 on the F11 in low-light situations without flash gets my vote.

does anyone know where I can still get the F10? helping my cousin in uk to get one.
an equote enquiry to MS Color yielded a 'no stock' answer. the reason they gave was because the F10 was no longer in production. |

UK should have, as I can see from dpreview's forum that some of them are still getting the F10. |

Since f11 is the successor to f10, thus it should be better...
