Default How do I use the Seagull Medium Format I got for My Birthday

Hi Gang,

Over the weekend, I was surprised by my mate who just returned with an antique medium format camera from China.

I'm curious if anyone has had experience with using these old school cameras and know where I can get advice for using them...

Also
1) where do they sell film?
2) where can i get the photos developed?

or even better, if any of your friends is going China again, ask them to bulk purchase 'Lucky films'. It's their local film and cost only RMB7 per 120mm B/W.

yup... it's twin lens reflex alright...

and thx guys for the info...

Hope it's not too expensive to learn how to work the thing here... don't want to spend the first 20 rolls churning out garbage. but of course I'll probably end up leaving it as a show piece...

TLRs are really fun to work with, and often surprise you with the quality of the results
