power socket type for switzerland ?

Hi,
I am going switzerland soon and would like to check with those who hv been there, what power socket type they used. I was told the two legs on the socket there is a cut gap.. izzit true ? coz I bought one universal but dun hv such cut gaps.. thanx

How easy life is if one just type the same key words in Google or Yahoo and the answer is there instantly instead of waiting here for an answer.....

Some round socket pins has a cut slit that runs along half the length of the pin but that has no much function for it. I get that on some equipment we purchase from Switzerland and other countries but they serve no real purpose. The only time I did anything with that slit was to widen it by prying it with a screwdriver to improve the contact of the pin to the electrical contact on one of my power sockets.

Do note that I have search links after links on various search engines before posting the question to see if anyone could give further information..
The reason I post is also I hv already got the Universal Adapter but the tour agent told me to get one that has a slit cut at the legs of the pin which my adapter do not have... He further say that it won't work without the slit.. but I do not see any of the internet links saying compulsory on this... So juz to verify before getting another adapter .. or else I am not able to charge my camera's battery.

The hotel i went to using the normal round 2 pin socket. Do not need the "silt" on the pin. Even those with the half the pin covered can work.
