For those who are thinking of getting one of these adapters, you might want to take note of this.
About a month back I was looking for such an adapter. I found 3 types altogether. There's the Hagiwara which I saw in Eastgear - most expensive (think around $70+ but it's a type 1). The other 2 are probably from Taiwan and are type 2. I had a chance to actually test the write speeds of these 2. The one with some words on it has a write speed of about 3.3 MB/s (IIRC). The other writes at about half that speed. Price-wise, the first costs about $45 and the second can be gotten for less then $30. Note that the second adapter doesn't have any words printed on it at all. |

Thanks for the info.
What's the diff between type 1 and type 2? |
