Btw 6pm to 9pm, you can go try this kopitiam style western food near my place Section17. It is a shop under those flats by the School. Very reasonable and tasty......but the place very hard to find.

Otherwise, go Jalan TAR.....the colonial style kopitiam called Coliseum Cafe.

Anyway, Chinatown got alot of nice food outlets......
The restaurant at Section 17 don't know went before or not. Normally my colleague drove me around one. For the food outlets at Chinatown, I don't recall going there before leh, will have to ask my colleague liao.

The restaurant at Section17 is called 4 to 10 I think...they got a roadside signboard near the bustop.....quite secluded.

As for the food outlets at Chinatown, it depends the hours you go and type of food you want to eat.....
In the afternoon, I normally go Alleyway where the yong tau foo, laksa selling...if at the shop, I go this really old pre war shophouse called 'Yoke Wu Hing' for char siew....it is renown for mooncake...alot of old folks there

Then you probably already know the "Koon Ghee" wanton mee.....
There is a nice pork peanuts soup stall in the evening too...and as for late dinner and supper...I ate hawker style dishes opposite the Furama hotel....the claypot "lau shui fun" and beancurd marintaed spare ribs.......

The hokkien mee there also quite famous ........Supper time. By the intersection next to the 'Loh Horn Koh' sweet soup stall.

Now, just hope I can go back by Feb........

Haha, no worries ... U can check out the prices from the lower floors and work ur way up. Best bargain is on the 5th floor anyway, in one of the 'back alleys' ...

Usually, Best Bargain has one of the best prices. But, I suspect that they are parallel importers, so may not have warranty. U might want to confirm with them

Thanks for the info. Will have to check with the driver. Yesterday so Pai Seh,
he went to old KTM to fetch me and come back to Mont Kiara to fetch another
colleague for dinner. When they ask me what I want to eat then I answered
Yuan Yang Chao Mian. And he have to drive all the way to back to KL again.
To repay him, I paid for the dinner.
