anyone bought the hp photosmart 130 from sony purchase

anyone bought the printer yet? would like some comments on it. I got my voucher to buy it for $199 that came with my sony camera

have been using it for half a year...printed hundreds and hundreds of photo with it

although it uses one cartidges(3 colour)...but amazingly....it can print photo that is comparable to those which uses 2 cart (6 colour)

however, for skin tones, it will looks more grainy than those that uses 6 colour, but since it can only print 4R, which is small, so u can't really tell the different for most of the photo

one cart can print abt 150-160 borderless 4R photo, which works out to be abt 25 cents per photo (excluding paper)

IMO, since the retail price for 5550 is same as C130. If portability & memory slot is not important for u...then get the 5550 which can print A4 and have up to 6 colour

if u just want a cheap printer that can only print 4R cheap,...u may consider getting the C130 since u have a $100 discount voucher

the new ink that C130 and 5550 using is small, so in a long run it will be more expensive than the deskjet 9XX series

however the new ink have much better colour, sharpness and water resisitant, esp if u printing photo

Well.....

Agree...that its really a good buy.......plus the fact use only one cartridge. Brought it along during my family Hari Raya Outing....one camera bag with this printer and one digital camera....and pooff!!!!! every homes i visit...they have a souvenier Hari Raya Photo on the Spot........

Hm...thought of going House to House during festive season to provide the service.......

The HP 5550 does not print true borderless 4R photos there is one side where the paper exits is not printed for about 1.2cm
Anyone knows if this is the same for HP 130? Or does it print on the Whole paper? Pls reply cos I will be getting it in this couple of days. Thanks.
