Default RAW converter for Finepix s5600? is it same as s9500?

Hi,

The RAW converter that came with the camera does only 1 thing, convert... I need to adjust the RAW before conversion. What other software can I use?

I last read an announcement from Adobe that they are supporting s9500's RAW in CS2, so has anyone tried if that also means it can read the s5600's RAW? since I thought, they are using the same sensor type anyway.

What RAW programs are you guys using? Free?

Thanks

They use the same sensor type, SuperCCD HR V but the sensors are different, how can they be when one is 5 megapixel and the other 9 megapixel?

I'm aware of the different pixel and physical size of the 2 sensors, but they are of the same type, arent they? in that case, wont the RAW info be converted in the same way? since the analogue data would be similar for each pixel.

anyone tried any other RAW converters for the RAW data from the S5600/S9500? thanks
