Default India - Pune sightseeing

Got a few hours to visit some attractions in Pune after my work.

Agakhan Palace - Last place where Gandhi (Gandhiji) & his wife Kasturbaji are kept under "house arrest" in 1942.
[It is more like a mansion]

No photography allowed in the house.
Bascially, a lot of drawings & artifects of Gandhi. Also the actual rooms which his wife & him stayed in.

Some ashes of Gandhi are here

His wife died in the house during the imprisionment and Gandhi was only realeased in 1944.
The following are ashes of his wife and the other of his personal secretary, who is also imprisioned with him.

Had to climb up steep setps to reach the top.

Small museum beside the temple
