Hitachi Microdrives
Just went to Sitext today and saw that Hitachi Microdrives are going cheap at Booth 4M06! (Hall 4)
 4GB - $208 + Free multi card reader 6GB - $288 + Free multi card reader The newer generation of microdrives are supposed to much better in terms of shock resistance, so I think these are really a low cost solution to our memory intensive shooting needs. Think I will be going there to pick up one tomorrow...

Hi! Did you consider the 8GB microdrive from Seagate? They are there at SITEX too.

Think we are getting much lower prices here in Singapore. US seems to price them a lot higher.
Think it's worth a try... in the old days, people had to rip them from the MP3 players. Now they are designed to be used for cameras.
