good news for those who have been waiting for this lens...
i was at cathay, asking about the tamron 18-200. was quoted $670, but told that they had no stock, have to order in. to my surprise though, salesman suggested that i buy the KM version instead. i didn't even realise can buy in sg already... price quoted was $745 including gst. seems a little steep. maybe the regulars can get a better price? (have posted this in the lens price thread) dun ask me what's the difference between the km version and the tamron version hor... i only know colour different :P |

There's no special price for regulars vs non -regulars, at least not that I know of. Its e-quote price vs non e-quote price.

U get a good discount via e-quote... just print the email and bring it along when u buy the lens...

Anyone knows what is the rationale behind the cheaper price via e-quotes? Does it mean if we don't bring down the email, we will not get at that price?
