    Default camera lens repair

    Hi guys,

Was looking on advice whether should i repair my Tamron 28 75. It keeps giving me err01 on my canon 60D and refuses to shoot most of the time.
Found a guy quoting 120 for the repair, but unsure as to is it worth it.

I originally bought it for 250 used.

    Thanks in advance!

Check with bro fatigue, he is a well known DIY camera repair man here in the forum. Get a second opinion.

Let me guess, SWM problem? Squeaky/intermittent/ unable to turn?
It's usually caused by oxidation in the motor, probably the lens was kept for too long.
It can be fixed without replacing the SWM
