    Default SIGMA 20mm or 30mm F1.4 art

    Hi all
Am using a 80d and wanted a fast prime...
Was considering a 20mm or 30mm f1.4 art and wondering which will be a better choice

With the crop factor the 30mm will go closer to 50mm equivalent on FF.

But trying not to break the bank and go for a wider prime...

    What do you guys think?

You can always crop on the 20mm to get a 30mm FOV...

Far too heavy for my liking, especially the 20mm Art (950g!). The EF-S 24mm or EF 40mm are my choice these days. F/2.8 is sufficient, the costs and weight to gain 2 stops of light are simply not worth it, imho.
    But YMMV.

    agree on the weight...
im more to wanna get as sharp wide open as possible and ill like a faster lens for low light

leaning towards the 30mm due to price... but im not so sure will like miss out the extra 10mm wideness? :0

I would go for the 30mm Art and add in the USB dock(if you don't have one).
Do take note of the CA and slight vignetting when using the glass wide open.

if budget is not a problem, I would recommend 35mm Art. Enjoy!
