I was initially worried abt getting the side swivel on my 3600HS until I remembered something called flash bracket and wireless mode.

Juz played with wireless mode. Fits my needs! What can I say?

That stuff there looks pretty interesting. Wondering if da pocket's enuff for it...

I got 5600 with my 7i. Worth every cents spend of it. Thinking of getting another one even no more offer from oracle.

I would have gotten a 5600HS if not for the fact I'm planning for a upcoming trip.

Next to come, long lens.

Hmm... Wireless mode works as well?

Anyway, juz now tried my 5D at the Big Boyz Toyz event at Expo. The LCD is just about the most unreliable thing to preview pictures as I'd discovered. And the importance of having a bounce card plus a diffuser.

I am using a Stroboframe QuickFlip on my 7D with 5600HS. Because the flash is about 2 inches higher, it reduces the chance of red eye.

Also, if you shoot on Vertical mode, your flash is still on the top and the shadow will fall on the bottom not on the left or right of a person.

However, it needs abit of practice... a bit cumbersome in the beginning.

Just my 2c worth..

Thanks Drudkh, I think the OS-1100 (or FS1100?) is what I need, but I wonder how much would it cost and where can I get it?

yes, Del_CtrlnoAlt, the flash blacket setting looks good. Is that the C bracket bought from PQ23 MO? Just wonder what you have used to connect the C bracket's hotshoe to the 5600HS(D) mount? It doesn't seem like OS-1100.
