Default Macro lens: 100mm f2.8 MACRO Tokina AT-X Minolta AF

Hi,
Is this a good macro lens for 5D..
It's very much cheaper than Tamron 90mm macro and Minolta 100mm macro..
Any feedback on this lens performance?

Three is this 50mm minolta macro lens at around the same price as this Tokina lens.. which is a better buy for macro..

If u are talking about the new tokina 100mm marco, there is NO minolta mount for it... Go for the tamron 90mm f2.8 di , 100% u will love it...

In KL, they are going for around RM1.3k. Not sure whether is the DI version though.

Should be around $550(tamron 90mm macro f2.8 DI)... It also doubles up as an excellent portrait lens due to the wonderful bokeh, though you may need to touch up a little on people with less than perfect complexion, haha!

The last time I checked at Alan Photo early this year (Sim Lim) it was SG550.

I have to agree that this lense is very good for both portrait and macro.

Hi,
From this website, seem like this Sigma lens is also has high performance rating..
Sigma 105mm EX Lens for Minolta.

Anyone using this lens now? Any feedback?
