    Default Forming a Market Rate

Look at this latest BIG OPPORTUNITY!

Notice how it is often at some Condo clubhouse (Got money but no budget irony)

Need you to have experience and portfolio as usual for pathetic pay. Somehow always $150 for 3 hours.

This has become the market rate for this specialized school of children photography work because you allowed it to become so.

Noticed now they don't dare to ask for your 1) raw files, 2) your equipment type, or 3) use the phrase "for exposure" to trick you?

Because you made threads to slam and shame them and thus promoted respect for yourselves.

Keep up the good work and never stop fighting.

Everyone has a budget, but everyone needs dignity too.

There are also people who do not understand the market. So those we can hope to educate.

But there will forever be scum like the TS in the 2nd thread, exploiting the market.

    Here is my take guys...

There is no way we can set a market rate for a particular service for photography as it vary greatly... It range from free to few thousands

If you think CS is not a good platform for your business, then it is probably better to look elsewhere. Where the things are going, the service wanted is at best great for people who has not much knowledge in photography to offer a service to test their skills... If people coming and expecting these type of photographers then so be it.

As a professional, if we all spend our energy and time building a business with the right target market then your business is to flourish... Why sweat at things that you don't even have control nor produce anything for your business...

    Just my 2cents.

    Regards,

    Hart
