you can only get the PJ version in Singapore; Cathay Photo stocks them at $70 per piece.

These are my test shots with the LightSphere 2 Photojournalist but they are not of human subjects though.

CP's price is quite reasonable. It would have cost me the same if I had ordered directly from Gary Fong.

Does anybody find that the LS2PJ leaks light on top when in portrait orientation?
Some of the subjects I took actually looked brighter in the face than body.
Anyone notice that? I'm using SB800 and D70.

Should test it on portraits, like half body, fully body portraits with ambient lighting background, and in front of the wall. Then can see the effect of LS II better

Once again, I'd like to ask if anyone noticed while using LS2PJ that the face of the subject in portait orientation looks brighter than the body? Really wonder what i'm doing wrong... Thanks!

i think most likely, your shutter speed too fast, lack ambient light, and the place you are at, the ceiling is too high, or maybe your flash is too weak, or power from flash is low... many possibility...

k i know why already... I think some times the face look brighter than body cos I push the LS@2PJ too deep down the flash head. Heheh.

Is there a difference using it with and without the inverted dome?

I was thinking of making an opaque white plastic cover for the LS PJ, rather than paying for the inverted dome.

Get a white plastic card from Artfriend and shape it to fit the top of the LS, then the light would be bounced off the card. Good idea?

How bad was it ? Over or underexposed?
Did CP give you the chart on how to use your LSPJ? [well .. it does help a bit ]

The dome itself in Australia cost AUD 20 or SGD 27.

i've had amazing results on my first outing with the ls2pj. no chart given, but play around with it and you're going to find that it works marvelous.

can't post images though it's a wedding, haven't gotten couple's permissions yet.

Looked rather impressive eh? I am considering getting it along with a 420EX next month as well.
